I don't like to get all political on you. And I suppose I'm not really, but...


It drives me to distraction to see Ministers, who claim to have such respect for democracy, showing total contempt for procedures designed to ensure government accountability. Possibly even worse are the spineless non-entities in the back benches who actually stand up and ask what they've been told to ask by the cabinet or whatever unelected pit bull they send to do their dirty work.


"Would the Prime Minister join me in remarking that he has a big cock?"
"Why, Yes! And I'd like to thank my Rt. Hon. friend for giving me the opportunity to bring it to the attention of the house."


Beneath contempt.


And so; it was very refreshing to see the Rt. Hon. Andrew Mackinlay MP actually speak out against this indefensible practice in the commons today.
